Tammy brings years of caregiving experience, compassion, and a genuine love for helping others. Her caregiving journey began while caring for her father in her home for more than seven years, an experience that shaped her patient, calm, and nurturing approach to care. She has continued that passion as a caregiver with Joyful Hearts, supporting seniors and individuals living with memory loss.
One of Tammy's greatest strengths is her ability to make others feel comfortable and respected. She believes that every client deserves to have their wishes honored and their independence valued. Her attentive nature, combined with her warm personality, allows her to build meaningful connections while providing dependable support.
Tammy especially enjoys spending time with clients through conversation, activities, games, and walks. She loves learning about people's lives, families, and interests, and finds great joy in making a positive difference each day.
Outside of caregiving, Tammy enjoys spending time with her husband, four daughters, and growing group of grandchildren. She loves reading, writing, playing cards, traveling, cheering on the Vikings, and relaxing at her family's cabin in Danbury. Her strong faith, caring spirit, and dedication to others shine through in everything she does.
